She has practiced general dentistry in the Greater Boston Area for over 20 years.  She is currently the owner of Dental Office Compliance of New England LLC,  which assists dental practices in complying with the myriad of regulations required by their state board, OSHA, and the CDC.  She teaches infection control and OSHA training,  creates personalized plans and protocols for dental practices, and helps them navigate the world of dental compliance.

For our 15th episode of the Women in Dentistry podcast, we have Lauren Gueits. Lauren Gueits, BS, RDH, Founder and President of Airway Health Solutions graduated from the State University of New York at Farmingdale in1991, with post-grad training in orofacial myofunctional therapy from the AOMT in 2013. Lauren has always been passionate about comprehensive care and the ever-evolving landscape of dental hygiene, dentistry, and orthodontics.  She is driven by helping people breathe, sleep, and thrive.

Lauren has been fortunate during her career to have multiple roles in the dental industry; starting as a chairside assistant at age 15, she later became an RDH receiving the prestigious 2010 Sunstar/RDH Award-winning recipient for her work in interdisciplinary collaboration. Lauren is an international speaker, published author, key opinion leader, coach/consultant, and was an award-winning sales specialist for Align Technology catapulting her to a corporate role as Sr. Manager of GP and Hygiene Education/Marketing from 2013-2018.

At ADMI, she serves as a clinical liaison to both providers and office teams, while enhancing support programs and resources provided to doctors. As Director of Charitable Giving, she supports Aspen Dental’s Healthy Mouth Movement outreach initiatives, which include veteran programs, Day of Service and Mouth Mobile, to provide free dental care to veterans in need; as well as the Healthy Smiles, an international dental outreach program, to provide oral health care and education to children, individuals and families in need.

Dr. Imadomwanyi is a people and culture-first leader with over a decade of industry expertise. As a devoted health care professional, she has an outstanding track record providing dental care services to diverse populations, coaching dentists and office teams, and staying on the cutting edge of dentistry.

Dr. Imadomwanyi is a member of the American Dental Association, Peoria Dental Society, Special Needs Dental Association.

While she was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, and is based in Chicago, Illinois for her ADMI position, she and her husband reside in Toronto, Ontario. She enjoys spending time with her husband, humanitarian service, cooking, art, fitness, fashion and interior design, speaks three languages and is a professional baker.

Prior to that, Dr. West served as Professor and Dean of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, School of Dental Medicine. Dr. West earned her D.M.D. from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry and her M.P.H. in Health Administration from the University of South Carolina School of Public Health. Dr. West is a longtime advocate for women’s health and diversity and inclusion in dental education. Her positions on dental faculty and in administration span 30 years, and her experience includes service on leading dental organizations, including time as Chair of the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
