Welcome to season 2!
For our 23d episode of the Women in Dentistry podcast, we have Karen Tindall. Dr. Karen is an internationally certified professional physician coach and is the founder of Balanced Doctor where she supports dentists, physicians, and healthcare professionals to thrive personally while continuing to be professionally successful. Using her firsthand experience of clinical practice she understands what it means to juggle a career in dentistry or medicine along with a busy home and family life. She helps her clients create the life that they want while having the career they deserve. Dr. Karen is passionate about preventing burnout before it takes hold. She understands the unique pressures of being a woman in clinical practice and the challenges that this creates.
Dr. Karen is a speaker on Compassionate Communication. She is passionate about sharing this message through workshops and presentations both virtually and in person.
Dr. Karen comes from a family of physicians and chose to break from tradition and pursue a career in Dentistry. She qualified from the University of Newcastle, UK as a Bachelor in Dental Surgery with Honours before completing her postgraduate training through the University of Oxford. Dr. Karen was a family dentist before moving into Orthodontics for 12 years. She is originally from the UK and relocated with her family to the United States in 2016. She now lives in Bentonville, Northwest Arkansas.
