Welcome to season 2!
For our 19th episode of the Women in Dentistry podcast, we have Bethany Piziks. Her journey began in a “lightning strike” moment when she was 13 and came home from school to find that her parents had sold her beloved horses (they couldn’t afford to keep them). She was devastated and decided she’d never again lose something she loved because of money. So she became a dentist…thinking it would be an easy way to make lots of money. Instead, what she experienced for over 20 years of practice (even though she was very successful on the outside) was enormous stress and anxiety, sleepless nights, and the slow, steady breakdown of her physical and emotional health. As she worked through her own healing, her passion shifted from restoring teeth to restoring hearts and spirits and helping others who were struggling the way she did.
In 2015 she sold her practice, completed a 2-year Certification program called Touched By A Horse to become an Equine Gestalt Coach, and BraveHeart Serenity Coaching was born! She now partners with horses to provide impactful coaching experiences, helping her clients get unstuck from old patterns, stress, anxiety, and fear, and attain serenity.
In 2020 she joined Solace LifeSciences (the makers of NuCalm) as a strategic partner, and she is excited to combine the power of neuroscience technology with Equine Gestalt methodology. This is an exponentially effective system of bringing long-lasting serenity and well-being to those who seek it!
